Construction Halted During Holidays
Tbird and 75th Ave Intersection Opens Dec. 17 to Jan. 2

Drivers will get a bit of relief this holiday season from the construction-related traffic restrictions at 75th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. The intersection will have two lanes open in all directions, with the ability to make left and right turns, starting Monday, Dec. 17 through Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013; restrictions will resume Jan. 3 through the end of the month. The project began this fall and when complete, the intersection will feature: turn lanes; additional through lanes; raised medians; traffic signal upgrades; pedestrian access ramps; and landscaping.
