FREE Small-Business Resource Seminar
Peoria’s Economic Development Services Department and Peoria’s Chamber of Commerce Partner to Offer a FREE Small-Business Resource Seminar Titled: “The Life Cycle of an Employee”

In partnership with Peoria’s Chamber of Commerce, Peoria’s Economic
Development Services Department is hosting a free small-business seminar from
11:30 am – 1:00 pm on June 6, 2012. Join Rebeccah Sotelo, President and Owner of
Sunwest Employer Services, Inc., as she reveals the “Do’s and Don’ts” all
employers should follow through the life cycle of an employee. This educational
presentation will be broken down into the following 5 steps.
1) Lawfully recruit and select employees.
2) The importance of a thorough on-boarding & orientation process.
3) Establish an introductory/probationary period for new employees.
4) Retain top talent.
5) Lawfully handle the transition of employees.
These steps will help you avoid costly and time consuming mistakes
small-business owners make every day.
Rebeccah Sotelo is an established market leader in the PEO (Professional
Employer Organization) industry. Throughout her 20 year career, she has worked
with small and medium size businesses by providing payroll, human resource,
benefits, and risk management administration services. Sotelo has distinguished
