Special Interest Workshop Teaches Parental Organization

"The Organized Parent" workshop will be Saturday, April 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8866 W. Thunderbird Road. Professional Organizer Susan Stewart will provide parents ages 18 and older helpful tips to resolve organizational challenges through lecture, discussion and hands-on activities. All participants must bring a pile of unsorted mail and/or papers from their kitchen counter and $20 for a supply fee due to the instructor to cover notebooks, a mail-sorter and a board for kid’s artwork. All participants will leave with a list and system to implement at home. The registration fee is $20 for Peoria residents and $34 for non-residents. Registration deadline is Wednesday, April 20.
