Special-Interest Offerings Include Dance, Language Courses

Get your culture on with a dance or foreign-language class at Rio Vista Recreation Center. The six-week dance courses offered are:

Country Line Dancing for adults – Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting March 25, $58 for Peoria residents and $65 for non-residents.

Arizona Two-Step for adults – Fridays from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. starting March 25, $58 for Peoria residents and $65 for non-residents.

Hip Hop for boys ages 7-14 – Fridays from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. starting March 25, $52 for Peoria residents and $59 for non-residents.

Aerobics for ages 9-12 – Saturdays 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. starting March 26, $49 for Peoria residents and $56 for non-residents.
The registration deadline for all four dance classes is Wednesday, March 23. The foreign-language classes, all for students 16 and older, are:

Spanish for Beginners – Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting March 24, $54 for Peoria residents and $61 for non-residents.

Spanish Level II – Thursdays from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. starting March 24, $54 for Peoria residents and $61 for non-residents.

Learn Italian! – Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. starting March 24, $79 for Peoria residents and $86 for non-residents.
