Fan Fest, Spring Into Peoria Share A Saturday
Feb. 26 Events Expected to Fill Stadium/Entertainment District

Saturday, Feb. 26, will be a very busy day along 83rd Avenue between Paradise Lane and Skunk Creek. Not only will the Peoria Sports Complex host its annual Spring Training Fan Fest from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., but the city also will block off 83rd Avenue for the Spring Into Peoria street festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Fan Fest – Admission, parking and activities are free. The event includes team practices, playing catch on the field, running the bases, sports memorabilia on display and the return of the all-age interactive skills area. A free youth clinic hosted by the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association will be held with registration onsite.   • Spring Into Peoria – The festival will feature four bands: Different Breed, Home Jones, Fat Tree and Bata Ire. There will be a beer garden and booths from establishments in Peoria’s 83rd Avenue Entertainment District.
