Dispose of Household Hazardous Materials Jan. 8
Free Drop-Off Event Runs 8 a.m. to Noon at Municipal Operations Center

The next opportunity for Peoria residents to properly dispose of hazardous material from their homes will be Saturday, Jan. 8, from 8 a.m. to noon, at Peoria’s Municipal Operations Center, 8850 N. 79th Ave., just south of Olive Avenue. This drop-off is free but limited to Peoria residents – who should bring a driver’s license or recent Peoria utility bill as proof of residency. Acceptable items include: appliances, home electronics, automotive fluids, household cleaners, pesticides and up to four tires.
