Rio Vista Hosts Activities for All Ages

Looking for fitness and fun throughout the holiday season? Rio Vista Recreation Center has a 25-foot climbing wall with six routes open for ages 5 and older; drop-in dodgeball for ages 13 to 17 at 8 p.m. on most Friday nights and on Saturdays for ages 9 to 12 starting at 3 p.m.; fitness classes Monday through Saturday; SilverSneakers classes Tuesday through Friday; and open times for racquetball, basketball and volleyball. The center is located inside Rio Vista Community Park on Thunderbird Road just west of Loop 101. Day passes are just $3 per day for youth; $4 for folks age 62 and older; and $5 for adults.
