Work Off Turkey Day Nov. 26 at Rio Vista Recreation Center

For those hoping to burn some calories after Thanksgiving, Rio Vista Recreation Center is offering several fun, calorie-burning fun activities on Friday, Nov. 26. Pedal off the Pounds is a series of cycle classes offered throughout the day (pre-registration required). There also will be incentive prizes for scaling the climbing wall from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. And those who like to walk can enter to win prizes at the indoor track. Activities are included with the purchase of a day pass, which start at $3 per day for youths, $4 for ages 62 and older and $5 for adults. Non-resident passes are just $1 more.
