City Seeks Public Input on Transit Improvements

Peoria is holding two public meetings to obtain input on how to improve transit services to, from and within the city. Officials particularly want to gauge public opinion on immediate changes to bus service and future bus and rail improvements. The meetings will be Monday, Nov. 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Community Room at Sunrise Mountain Library, 21109 N. 98th Ave., and Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Pine Room at City Hall, 8401 W. Monroe St. Folks who can’t attend either meeting can e-mail comments to transitstudy@peoriaaz.gov or call 623-773-7643.
