REC Show Features Special Olympics, Dancing, Rock Climbing

Peoria Channel 11 is televising the latest edition of its REC Show daily at 11:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. – and on demand at www.peoriaaz.gov/recshow. In this episode, host Elizabeth Eckel looks at Adaptive Recreation’s role in the Special Olympics, the AM/PM Program, Thursday Tea Dances at the Peoria Community Center (featuring music by Diamondbacks organist Bobby Freeman), Fit After 50 exercise classes, the library’s entertaining Madame Patchouli and Ape Index, a local indoor rock-climbing venue.
