Channel 11's 'REC Show' Garners Two Telly Awards

Peoria Channel 11 has earned two more Telly Awards, this time for the August and September 2009 editions of The REC Show. Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional and cable television commercials and programs; the finest video and film productions; and work created for the Web. The two additional statues bring Channel 11's Telly total to 13 in the last five years. The August REC Show featured the X Games Fingerboard Skate Jam at Rio Vista Community Park, while the September episode featured the Jonas Brothers charity kickball game at the Peoria Sports Complex.
