Training Exercise to Take Place at Water Treatment Plant
Peoria Fire Department at Greenway Facility on March 4

PEORIA, Ariz. (Feb. 26, 2010) – The
city of Peoria Fire Department will be conducting an onsite training exercise at
the Greenway Water Treatment Plant on Thursday, March 4. The plant is located at
7300 W. Greenway Road.
On the morning of the exercise, training barricades will be placed near the
plant while emergency vehicles enter and exit the facility. This type of
exercise helps to ensure that Fire personnel are well-prepared to deal with a
potential emergency situation.
There will be no disruption to water services.
