Peoria's Sustainable University offers a variety of courses and workshops. Topics include landscape watering and design, energy efficiency, residential solar, gardening, composting and recycling among others. Let us know what other topics you would like to see.

Summer magic shows for the kids! Get out of the June heat and take in one of the Saturday Abracadabra magic shows at the Sunrise Mountain Branch Library. Kids will follow Sonoran Sam and Cactus Cate as they search for Arizona's most precious natural resource - water. Shows are offered each Saturday in June and begin promptly at 11:00am at Sunrise Mountain Branch Library (21109 N. 98th Ave., Peoria, AZ, 85382). Shows are free and no registration is required.
