Neighborhood Grants Program
We are NOT accepting grant applications at this time
Next Grant Cycle: June 2014
The City of Peoria's Neighborhood Grants Program is designed
to assist neighborhood-based improvement projects to prevent
the decline of neighborhoods throughout the city. Neighborhood
groups and associations who are active partners in their commun-
ity and interested in improving the quality of life of their neighbor-
hoods are encouraged to apply.
The Neighborhood Grants Program is subject to annual funding
allocations determined by the Mayor and City Council. Up to
$12,000 may be awarded toward any eligible project.
Who Can Apply?
• Traditional neighborhoods.
• Formal neighborhood associations (HOA communities).
• All Neighborhoods MUST be registered with the City in order for their application to be accepted.
Application deadline will be established on an annual basis. Selections will be made approximately 30 days after application deadline. City staff and/or the Neighborhood Grants Program committee will review all applications. Grant seekers will be required to present their request to the committee and answer any questions about their proposed project.
