The City of Peoria hosts multiple running events at Rio Vista Community Park and other City facilities.  With Rio Vista Community Park's ideal location on the New River and connecting Skunk Creek Trail Systems it has quickly become a hub for running events in the West Valley.

The City of Peoria is excited to announce the kick off of the 2nd Annual Peoria Runners Series.  The Series is a collection of races that take place in the City of Peoria throughout the year.  Runners who register for these events will earn points for participation and results. 

The top 100 point earners at the end of the Series calendar will receive an entry into a prize lottery.  All runner's that participate in 8 events will automatically receive an additional prize entry and runners that participate in 10 events will receive two additional prize entries. (maximum of three prize entries per individual).

We are excited to announce that the Grand Prize for this year's Runner's Series will be airfare, hotel, and race entry fees for two to participate in a national half maration event to be determined soon.  Additonal prizes will also be provided by our sponsors.

Want to join?  All you have to do is register for a Peoria Runner's Series Event.  Please see the Race Calendar above for a full list Series Events.
