About the Site Development Division 

The Site Development Division is responsible for the review of site plans/preliminary plats, the processing of final plats and minor land divisions review. We are also responsible for the approval of civil drawings related to water, sewer, paving, grading, drainage, review drainage and soil reports, preparation of Maintenance Improvement Districts (MIDS), preparation of Street Light Improvement Districts (SLIDS), and streetlight plans. Offsite permits include: grading & drainage, trenching, water, sewer, paving, storm drains, drywell, irrigation, streetlights, striping & signage, traffic signals and providing mapping and record drawing information. We also provide inspection services, and respond to city departments, city officials, citizens, developers and contractor inquiries.

Commercial Rehabilitation Program Details
On October 19, 2010 the City Council voted to approve the implementation of the Old Town Commercial Rehabilitation Program. The Program is designed to promote and assist with the improvement of targeted Old Town commercial properties through site and exterior building rehabilitation. The program is designed to provide 100% funding for the rehabilitation of eligible properties in return for a 20-year facade easement. Program applicants will be responsible for property and facade maintenance, as well as compliance with city codes and other requirements through an easement agreement. The City will develop and manage all improvements related to engineering and architectural plans and construction.
