There will be a presentation by artist, Nova Hall, this Thursday, February 26 at 4:00 pm in the Peoria City Hall Art Gallery. Nova is a contemporary artist and the grandson of Donald A. Hall who was the chief engineer of the Spirit of St. Louis, the plane which Charles Lindbergh flew from New York to Paris in August of 1927. The paintings on exhibit are related to the historic flight.
In 1999 Nova discovered his Grandfather’s steamer trunk of artifacts, original newspaper articles, photos, engineering tools and connections to Lindbergh. Nova will share information relating to contents of the trunk, the historical facts and subsequent book and documentary.
This exhibit of paintings, photos and artifacts is titled “Flying Over Time” and continues through March 19. See attached informational flyer.
The following exhibit in the Peoria City Hall Art Gallery at 8401 W. Monroe St. will be West Valley Art Museum’s juried Celebration of Artists 2015 from March 23 through May 14.
From May 18 through June 25 the Peoria Fine Arts Association Spring 2015 Membership Show will be featured in the Gallery.
