Water Conservation Rebate Program
Effective January 14, 2013, the Water Conservation Rebate Program is closed and no longer distributing or accepting rebate applications. The Water Conservation Rebate Program will resume at the start of the next fiscal year in July 1, 2013 pending City Council budget approval.
Purpose: The intent of the rebate program is to encourage a permanent reduction in the amount of water used inside and outside of the home by establishing financial incentives. Customers, who assist the City’s water conservation efforts by installing specific water saving technologies, may receive a credit on their utility bill. Rebates are available to citizens who have an individually billed account by the City of Peoria.
Procedure: You may request an application online, through e-mail, or by calling (623) 773–7286. Once your name, address, phone number, and account number have been verified, an official application will be sent through the mail. The rebate procedure varies depending upon the type of rebate. For more information, please refer to the specific rebate in which you are interested.
Please note: All rebate application requests and rebate credits prior to July 1, 2011 are ineligible for this program. A limited number of rebates are available between all rebate program types per fiscal year. Rebates will be given on a first come, first served basis from the date and time the application is received. Applications received after funds have been expended will be placed on a waiting list.
