It is the mission of the Code Enforcement Unit of the Peoria Police Department, to provide for the health, well being, and general quality of life of citizens on properties within the City of Peoria through enforcement of relevant City Codes, and provisions of the Zoning Ordinance. This includes, but is not limited to, enforcement of adopted codes and provisions pertaining to litter, inoperable vehicles, recreation and commercial vehicles, animals, graffiti, abandoned properties, land uses, encroachments, visibility obstructions, building without permits, noise, environmental concerns and related issues.
