Community
Emergency Response Team - CERT Program

During the first 72 hours after any type of
disaster local, county, state and federal
emergency services can be committed beyond their
capabilities. Infrastructures such as water,
power, telephones and streets can be disabled or
damaged. When this happens the residents need to
be prepared to help themselves.
Are you ready
for this type of emergency?
How do you learn to help your neighborhood?
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) trains people
in neighborhoods, the workplace, and schools in basic
disaster response skills, such as fire suppression, urban
search and rescue, and medical operations, and helps them
take a more active role in emergency preparedness.
Volunteer response is an option and not a requirement of the
CERT training.

We have
several
classes starting as well as
Continuing Education opportunities!
