

Susan Thorpe Deputy City Manager for Public Safety & Administrative Services Susan K. Thorpe has 20 years of municipal management experience and has served as a City Manager and Assistant City Manager for cities in Texas and California. Most recently, Susan served as the City Manager of Rowlett, Texas, a community of 51,000 residents near Dallas. Thorpe has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas, and holds a Credentialed Manager designation from the International City/Council Management Association. Thorpe is a member of the International City/County Management Association and Peoria Rotary Club, and was formerly associated with the Texas City Management Association and University of North Texas Public Administration Advisory Board.
